Dr. Cecilia Magalhaes is a 1981 graduate of the Faculdade de Medicina Veterinaria - UFF, in Rio de Janeiro, a highly respected and recognized university in her native country Brazil, where she practiced for 9 years. In 1989, she moved to the United States to add to her curriculum post-graduate studies in New York at the renowned Animal Medical Center and Chinese Veterinary Acupuncture Certification.

Dr. Magalhaes is licensed in Florida. After working for several years as a veterinary associate in hospitals of South Florida and owning her own hospital for four years, she noticed the need for an in-house veterinary service and decided to start Vet Home Express. Her goal is to offer optimal affordable veterinary care in your home for you and your pet's comfort.
